About H4
At H4 Ranch, our goal is simple — raise quality livestock that are recognized for their soundness, character, and performance, inside and outside of the arena. Cattle that are well cared for and that we are proud to call our own.
We raise registered Performance-Bred Bucking Bulls and Texas Longhorns, with both programs built around the same foundation: good genetics, soundness, proper care, and honest evaluation.
Our bucking bull program focuses on proven genetics, natural athletic ability, soundness, and performance. We believe bucking bulls are athletes and should be cared for and handled like athletes, with proper nutrition, veterinary care, safe handling, appropriate conditioning, and the health and welfare of the animal always coming first.
The H4 Texas Longhorn program focuses on complete, functional cattle with fertility, longevity, maternal ability, good feet and legs, disposition, horn, color, and true Texas Longhorn character.
Whether it is a Longhorn heifer or a young bucking bull prospect, we look at the whole animal and strive to produce cattle we are proud to put the H4 Ranch name on.

What We Offer
At H4 Ranch, we offer high-performance Bucking Bulls for the arena and quality registered Texas Longhorns for the pasture or competition.
From the PBR to your local rodeo, H4 Bucking Bulls can help support your rodeo needs. We have bulls at multiple performance levels, backed by quality genetics and proven pedigrees, while continuing to raise and develop the next generation of young prospects.
We also have a passion for raising quality registered Texas Longhorns with strong pedigrees, proven genetics, sound conformation, and the amazing demeanor that makes this breed so special. Our goal is to produce Longhorns that are competitive, productive, easy to work with, and cattle you are proud to have in your pasture.
From the bucking chute to the pasture — H4 Ranch is focused on good genetics, quality livestock, and raising them right.
Our History
At H4 Ranch we share a long history of farming, ranching, and rodeo.
For years, we followed professional bull riding and rodeo, and over time we became part of it ourselves. We have worked rodeos as stock contractors, flanked bulls, popped latches, pulled gates, announced events, and helped organize and produce rodeos. You could say rodeo has been in our blood for a long time.
About five years ago, we took that passion a step further and got into the bucking bull business. What started small has continued to grow as we have expanded our herd, improved our genetics, and focused on raising quality athletes for the arena.
The Texas Longhorns came along a little differently.
About three years ago, we decided we wanted a Longhorn as a pasture ornament for the farm. One quickly turned into a few, and before long we had developed a real passion for registered Texas Longhorns.
We were drawn to their history, their look, and especially their calm, easygoing demeanor. What started as something we thought would look good in the pasture quickly became another part of H4 Ranch that we truly enjoy.
Today, H4 Ranch brings those two passions together — high-performance bucking bulls and registered Texas Longhorns — both rooted in good genetics, proper care, and a genuine love for livestock and the Western way of life.
